OK don't laugh, is there anyway to use a keyboard and mouse

I'm old and my joints don't work a controller very well, I would like to play on x-box but I would like to use my mouse and keyboard is there an adapter to make this happen.

I know this is probably the weirdest question of the year but if I could make it work I would buy the x-box one and have a blast.

Currently there is no support for keyboard and mouse. There may be support in the future to be able to use a mouse and keyboard for game play.

You don't, consoles use a controller....

The mouse will never work.

The keyboard is helpful for text.

Console games are NOT programmed to use a Keyboard/ mouse.

 

A keyboard could be coming soon, as for the mouse I am not sure about that, my advice is don't use any adapter that is not Microsoft you could end up getting a ban.

 

A keyboard/mouse combo is highly unlikely. You can use USB keyboards with your xbox one to type messages and while using internet explorer

 

I would like to know if the Microsoft All in One-Media Keyboard (wireless) would work on XB1.

I asked at the OnlineStore, they said it will work. But I don`t believe them, because of their wanted selling quotes...

If somebody can test it I would apprieciate Infos if it works or not.

All I have found are for the 360, but I am sure there will be one for Xbox one soon.

 

Keyboard = Yes (I have the Microsoft All in One-Media Keyboard (wireless) But chat pad doesn't)

Mouse = No (See Microsoft All in One-Media Keyboard (wireless) in Yes Answer)

I do wish Xbox would update the One for the MS Media Keyboard - That would be Awesome
