Oily substance coming out of my controller

Discus and support Oily substance coming out of my controller in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; This is by far something I haven't met before, I use a micro USB for my controller to prevent it from disconnecting without batteries and after 1 year...     Oily substance coming out of my controller


    This is by far something I haven't met before, I use a micro USB for my controller to prevent it from disconnecting without batteries and after 1 year I have noticed that even with the micro USB the controller still disconnects and there's a transparent
    oily substance coming out of my controller.

    I tried wiping it but the substance turned sticky onto my controller.

    Can someone identify this problem for me?

    this same thing is happening with my controller! At first, I thought maybe I spilled something on it without realizing, but then it happened again! I have no idea why there would be an oily substance inside a controller ? Makes no sense. Now my controller
    light is just flashing and it doesn't want to connect...

    New to the lobby, have an issue with my XBOX ONE

    Have seen videos of this and it was like a milky oily substance. Could be a fan lube getting warm and melting into a liquid.

    The only component that can discharge an oil is an Electrolytic Capacitor and even then they are usually the lager high voltage type found in PSU circuitry. They can sometime go faulty and burst open with a plume of white smoke and leak their oily substance
    from within. I do not think this is the cause here though. It sounds like something has been spilt into the console at this given point. If you know 100% it was not you, why on earth have you not got it replaced?

    I just tried my disc also, same result, What I did notice on the disc is it looks like the surface is not like other disc. Mine looks like it has oily patches, like it wasn't made correctly. It does not come off. Came out brand new like this, purchased
    from Best Buy. Dead Rising and Battlefield 4 worked and those disc look normal.
