It's all a matter of exclusives in my opinion. Not which has the best, but rather which one has the ones you prefer. If it's Multiplayer shooters you are after, FPS/TPS I'd go with Xbox One. If it's single player adventure/action that takes your fancy, go
with PS4. I was going to get both, but no Multiplayer for Infamous, The Order, or now rumoured the same for Uncharted? Where is the replayability going to come from on PS4? In the Multiplats. Pass. But if Single player is your thing, PS4 might be right up
your alley.

 

I have both a PS4 and a ONE. Right now the ONE gets more use because simply put there's more games on it that I want to play. Titanfall Beta is soo fun and I get my butt handed to me every time. I will definitely get that game on MArch 11. Infamous looks
stellar for PS4 so the next couple of months for me are going to be great.

For once I have to agree with Lloydy here, at least partially. I can't compare it to the PS4 since I don't have one, but I can compare it to other devices in my home such as my Xbox 360, Smart TV, and PC. From my own personal experience, the resolution of
TVs and movies using the Netflix app on the Xbox One are worse than the other devices despite being on the same network and Internet connection.

My brother and I tested it out just last night with Disney's Brother Bear, which was just added to Netflix. At first we thought maybe our ISP was throttling our Internet with the new law put in place that allows ISPs to do that, but as I said, all of the
other devices performed better (we tested all 3 to compare).

However, we are still uncertain if this is because of the Xbox One itself or if it's just the Netflix app on the Xbox One. We ran multiple applications on the Xbox One at the same time to see if it made a difference - it didn't. This leads me to believe
that it's the fault of the app, but if that's the case, why is the app not as good as on other devices when it's made by the same company (Netflix)?

 

Never had any issues with my connectivity to Netflix, so I can't confirm or deny.

 

My ignorant advice:

Playstation4 if you want slightly more gaming power than the one...similar to ps3 vs 360.

Xbox one if you want all in one, the xbox online experience....Xbox live vs psn.

PC if you want more power, better graphics, cheaper games, no subscription fee, all in one machine, larger scale games, mods (not hacks). It will take more effort having a pc than a console.

Obviously exclusives can be important. (note: some exclusives are also on pc)

 

Yep, we don't use X1 for Netflix anymore because of buffering. When you bring up info in Netflix on PS4 it has a Super HD resolution that I get without buffering 99% of the time. It looks better than DirectTV but not as good as a bluray.

 

Forget that I use my Apple TV through X1 for my digital movies.

for days and hours at a time and the more priorities we have the less gaming matters. In the end do what you like and follow your heart. I also believe all this titanfall talk and beta has you itching to tag back into the game.

 

Dubstep, Generically from me, I gotta recomend both consoles to you. The PS4 is worth it for Outlast alone tbh, and it's free. The Xb1 is solid whether you like kinect or not, there is enough games available already to justify the purchase and the online
is pretty good. The OS at this stage has more of a community feel then the PS. I know it's a generic response but chosing sides is difficult when the differences are minimal.
