oh Snap, Jan 2016 shawacked my XBONE, wait...thats my fault for owning a DAY1

Hello Fellow Gamers,

I need your help! I purchased a Day1 console and now its a Day0 console. I came home from work to power it on and enjoy some BF4 or ESO only to be shocked to see there was an error code on the screen. So Googled my issue and I tried the USB update restore
assuming that might fix it. It did not. I then proceeded to xbox support and here is my situation. My console is out of warranty, you know for being a xbox fan and early adopter this is my punishment. I was told by support there is nothing they can do for
me since its out of warranty. HERE IS THE PROBLEM. If I broke it and its out of warranty that my responsibility. But the update was forced, *** onto my console, and I am being told that the offender is not responsible? Given a choice to not download the update
and play vs force me to pay for an update that was installed and broke my system I would choose to never update. Is there a conspiracy, is Xbox saying they can download an update to anyone like you and me that crashes their product and we have to pay for it?

Yeah I got my 5 months of limited/special time gaming on the day1 edition. Oh wait their was nothing special. Nothing that anyone else didn't get. That special black box is the same black box in the titan bundle.
