OG seeking 3rd PS with a No Respawn option, for XBOX One?

I think the title says it all? Does one exist? If not, anyone know if one's in development?

Here's the context that makes this actually kind of important to me:

I'm a retired gaming ninja, now in his late 40's. The first console evolutionary upgrade from the
Coleco Telstar pong to the Atari 2600, was a miraculous & formative event of my childhood! The next miracle came 7 or 8 consoles later - the network adapter for the PS2. After a couple years of Madden and many more years of SOCOM addiction,
there was another event. I discovered that everyone with impressive skills or at least skills that I respected, had been covertly using subtle, PC enabled cheats! ...and I could still hang in with the BEST of them - li'l biotches! ...cheating from
the beginning! I'd been playing with many of these guys for years! I quit that day and never played or bought another game or console.

Well, I got my 8 year old an XBOX One. Now he's being introduced to the etiquette, realities, and joys of online gaming. I want to join him & highlight the values and enduring reward of integrity, strategy, and beating the odds with mad skills (vs.credits,
cheats, & grinding). But obviously, I'm an old man and I find FPS physically awkward and visually unrewarding (plus how can you teabag deserving victims?).

I also find that respawn minimizes the rewards for skill. For example:

If you're gonna rush up my *** while I'm still putting out my cigarette -- but I still manage to shoot you in the face? You pay the price and next time think twice!

It's unsatisfying to tear through half your team with speed and accuracy, only to catch a grenade, randomly flung by a chump I schooled in the first 15 seconds.

Run-n-Gun shouldn't stack up kills in the absence of actual skills.

Hmmm... apparently I'm still a little bitter? lol Is the game I'm looking for out there on the XBOX One?

Favorite Console Design

OG Xbox, the first Xbox had the best looks to it. I wish they would of did it for the XBOX ONE. 2nd would be PS3 OG never own one but thought the looks was cool. 3rd would be GameCube. And the rest are on the same level.

 

Controller disconnection issues (my case)

Wait for the next update. Since I installed it I had no disconnects (and this is my 3rd Xbox One).

Ps. I'm on latest beta firmware. Should be released soon.

 

Gears of war ultimate edition might have what your looking for. Usually there is a no respawn mode but not sure of the current playlists.
