OG backwards compatible free with gold titles

I was wondering, as this is the first OG Xbox title(Mercenarieslayground of Destruction) in Games with Gold membership. Does anyone know if its free to keep beyond an expired gold subscription? I am keeping my 10 years+ intact, but was just curious as
if this is the case.

Games with Gold Titles Included in Backward Compatibility

When backward compatibility launches in November, all future Xbox 360 Games with Gold titles will be playable on Xbox One. That means Xbox Live Gold members now will get more free games to play each month on Xbox One.

purchasing problems

Just backwards compatible. and not with the free Games with Gold titles (those work fine). I only see that on ones I try to purchase.

 

It is considered an Xbox 360 release, so it's yours to keep forever.

Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to answer your question. You should be able to continue playing any Xbox 360 and Xbox original titles that you've received thru games with gold once your subscription has run out.

All games not branded "xbox one" are free to keep with or without a gold subscription! But really, who wouldn't want to continue being a gold member with so much extra value each month!
