    Hi, I'm having some problems with my account on the Xbox app saying I'm offline even if I am not? This causes my friend inability to join my games on Minecraft bedrock edition and I have no clue how to fix it? I hope I'm writing this for the correct site but if I am not please direct me.

    New to XBox Live...How do I sign in?

    Then they are 2 different accounts. The one on your Xbox is an offline account and the one you created on the PC is a new account. Recovering that account would put the one you created on the PC onto your Xbox, but it'll still be a separate account.

    I got the same problem.

    Steps that should help:

    - uninstall XBox-App by PowerShell Command

    - create offline-Account

    - restart PC with offline-account and install XBox-App

    - Login with offline-account

    - wait for login confirmation

    - restart PC and login with original (online) account

    For me the uninstall and reinstall works, but the problem persists.

    As soon as I try to login with the online account - Error Code 0x80070520.

    Which is a great error code, since not even Microsoft seems to know what it means :(

    You can also make your primary PC "offline permissions" in Windows Store app settings, which will make you able to play offline. This way even if you account is set on multiple devices your PC with Offline permissions will always have priority and won't
    ever encounter this error.

    I believe if you go to the Windows store on that PC, and then click the three dots in the top right and click Settings, then you can scroll down to "Offline Permissions". If you turn on "Offline Permissions" then he might be able to play on that PC?
    If that doesn't work, the other option is to remain logged in to your account on the PC and then have your son sign in via the Xbox App or Xbox Console Companion App (I don't remember which one is authoritative there), and have him play the games (as long
    as your account remains logged into the Windows Store).
