    Offline Updates for Minecraft


    Does anyone know how to get the updates for Minecraft Xbox 360 without an internet connection?

    This Xbox 360 is not connected to the internet (and never will be), but I can access the internet on my laptop (obviously).

    I'm looking for a way to put the update on a USB flash drive and then install it on the Xbox 360.

    There are websites that claim to be able to do this, but they all seem suspect (hacking sites, etc).

    I'm looking for the official way to do this.

    Minecraft update bug

    Recently i downloaded the new Minecraft update (TU9) In the beginning i could load saved worlds now i can't. I read some solutions but I don't know how to play offline. I am a silver member. Is it all minecraft players or just silver minecraft players?

    MC Launcher offline

    There is an offline play when you do not have internet to your PC as long as the launcher and the game is updated. When you open the Minecraft launcher, the button will turn to "Play offline" and it should allow offline playing. Are you not having that option though?

    This is aimed at offline users though. It's kinda of pointless for most people who have access to Xbox Live because Minecraft will be continually updated.

    To play Minecraft: Xbox One Edition from a disc, you’ll need to install it while in offline mode on your Xbox One. Once the installation is complete, launch the game before connecting to Xbox Live again.
    You’ll be able to play Minecraft: Xbox One Edition from that disc going forward, whether you are online or offline.
