Offline update with a virtual drive on phone??

I don’t know if what you are suggesting will work or not but tbh the best option may just be to go out and buy a USB flash drive as they are relatively inexpensive rather than take risks with either your phone or your Xbox.

My OneX is out of warranty, and after exhausting all possibilities to recover after e105 error code, it seems I need major repair. The only thing i have NOT been able to try is attempting the full reset offline. I do not have a flash drive though,
and I was wondering if my Xbox would recognize a virtual NTFS flash drive installed on my Android phone for the update. Is this possible?

Android doesnt read ntfs

To share a drive the host controller your phone needs to recognize

Download the update from a phone and plug with an adapter a usb drive to your phone to be abke to boot it up on your xbox offline.
