    Offline update questions


    My internet connection is less than 768kbps at home and I have no other options, and have turned to offline updating to keep my XB1 up-to-date. I've read the instructions but two things are a little ambiguous.

    1. When the instructions say that no other files should be on the USB drive used to install the updates, does that mean that I can only have one update on the USB drive at once? For instance, I can't have OSU1 and OSU2 on the same USB drive at the same time?

    2. Are the updates (OSU 1&2) the very latest updates? I'd like to buy a couple new games, but I'm concerned that games that have come out in the last month or so will not work otherwise until I update the system; I'm also concerned that the console will
    STILL make me update for those specific games to work, as is typical.

    did you try to restore your xbox one to factory defaults?

    one more question, did you do an offline March update?

    I tried the offline update and it works but after the offline update my xbox request another update with 833 MB and the problem stills, offline update is working but it isn't enought there's always something to update and the question is that "Why" my

    You didn't answer the question of whether you are in the insiders program or not. If you are, you can't use the normal offline update.

    The answers to your questions can be found on the following link:

    All under Step 3: On your Xbox One console

    (1) - Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart.

    (2) - Press and hold the BIND and EJECT buttons on the console, and then press the Xbox button on the console. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    Thanks for taking your time to help me out here! But I'm still a little confused, from what I read from older posts, some ppl heard 4 beeps instead of 2. And also from the link you gave me, they want you to unplug your drive during the console restart, but
    some ppl unplugged it after the console restarted. Not sure what to do here.
