    Offline system update errors


    Hi,

    I have been struggling to get my xbox one (original) updated online. im resorting to offline updates. but now the offline update which i download from xbox website gives me an E101 00000504 8B050041 error when i try to update OSU2 (due to my OS version 17763.3066.amd64fre.rs5_release_xbox_dev_1811.181206-1740).

    Please do assist

    The system update that is trying to install is failing validation during the system update file verification.

    Solution:

    To resolve this issue, you will need to install the Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool.

    This error code (E101) indicates that there was an error while trying to install and run the Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool.

    You may have accidentally downloaded an incorrect Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool file. Please review the instructions on how to locate the correct operating system version so that you can select the correct Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool file.
    Then, download and install the file again.
