offline save game not loading!!

Recently I started playing a game in xbox initially I am connected online so all save games saves to cloud storage but after 2 days I am started playing offline because there is problem with my internet connection and when i got back online it does not
pick my offline save game , it started from where i left online . However in my xbox it is still showing a 5 mb save game under internal option but it does not load to my game

Resetting your console would be the best option, something seems to be corrupting the process.

Thank you but it did not solve the problem. I had to played again .

My suggestion is to power cycle console. If that not works I suggest following instructions on this Link.

Hey there Thorshamm3r94.

Do you get an error message when you try to load your save? If you haven't already, try connecting to Xbox Live and load an online save to see if there is any change. It's possible your Offline saves synced with your online save. Let us know how it goes

I followed all the steps. Marked my laptop as my offline device. Loaded the game. Signed into Xbox Live. Loaded my save. Then packed my laptop and headed for the airport. I was deeply disappointed on my flight to see that the game would run but would not
go past xbox sign in. Clicking cancel results in a message that cloud saves aren't available. Okay, sure, but the local saves are right there under Save Games in my user folder. The game refuses to allow loading any saves or continuing at this point, a completely
broken offline experience.
