    I need to create offline profiles on my Xbox one, as I create a different profile for every game I play, in order to delete progress if I want to start playing from scratch again.

    I also do not want the gaming console to utilize my bandwidth at all, due to bandwidth costs.

    It sounds like you created an offline profile on your 360 for your partner. Unless it's an online profile with a unique associated email address, you won't be able to transfer it across. Your profile transferred, but your partners isn't attached to it, it's separate and offline on the 360.

    I'd look at trying to convert the offline profile on your 360 to an online one, associate an email with it, then load that up in the One.

    Completely 100% wrong!

    Just deleted my profile off my xbox one, then downloaded my brothers profile ( as if he was the potential buyer). The two games worked perfect under his account both online and offline.

    All accounts on the One have to be created as an online account. You can then switch the console to offline mode and disconnect if you want.

    If you signed in with your xbox one profile on the 360 and it was that same profile then it would have just loaded up the saved games that were already there so I am going with this is an offline profile situation.

    1. If this is an offline profile issue you would have to follow the link to make that offline profile an online profile.

    2. Once that is done this would make a new account with a new profile on it for you with those game saves on it.

    3. You can then load up that profile on the One and if you want to continue through those game saves then you would need to play on that profile.

    There is NO way to move the saved games to your new profile. You are going to have to convert your xbox 360 offline profile into an online profile and you would not be able to use the current xbox one profile/account to do it.

    You can have a free Live account. You don't have to have gold in order to be on Live. Gold just allows you to play online multiplayer.
