Offline profile won't sign in all the way

Since the November update 2015 I can not sign in to my profile offline,

it says hello but will not sign in completely

:)

So it will play offline but won't sign into live? And it's all profiles or just yours.

 

Trouble on Offline Sign-in Xbox One

I created an offline profile seperate from my xbox live profile to record games for my YouTube channel. I went to sign in to that offline profile today, and the screen turned dark, and a blank sign in screen kept popping up then disappearing. This happens
multiple times then it stays, but it is white and won't do anything. I added a new offline profile to see if that works, but and it did. I need help signing into the original offline profile please.

 

Can you describe what sign in all the way looks like vs what is occurring now?

 

When it signs in all the way it will say hello and show my gamer picture. Right now it will say hello like it signed in but won't show that I'm signed in. When I play a game and it tells me to sign in I choose my profile and it will pop up again to have
me choose a profile

 

Most of NXOE requires the Internet so with no internet your gamers core can't be pulled not can your photo

Now within the guide it does refer to you being signed in but many of the guide items also require the Internet.

Being prompted to choose your gamertag when launching a game is normal too if offline as the game will need to load your local game save as long as that Xbox one is your home console

What else signifies "not being signed in" that looks wrong?

 

Let's say I put in gta it says choose your profile to load my saved game so I pick my profile but it does not sign in, it will immediately ask me to choose a profile again over and over. When on the dashboard I will select my profile it will say hello (my
name) but will never show that im signed in to be able to play a game. Sorry if this is confusing maybe it is a bug from the latest update.

 

Not confusing at all

Two real solutions to try that don't mess up anything.

-first, perform a hard reset (hold the Xbox logo on the console until it turns off)

-second, delete your profile off the console, restart the console....after the restart, redownload your profile and test.

 

Ok I have tried the hard reset already. I will try to re download my profile the next time I am able. Thanks for your help much appreciated

 

I'm also having this issue with another account of mine. What I've tried:

-Hard reboot

-Clear cache

-Redownload profile (when I do this the xbox will turn off)

-Used the update diagnostic tool (which a support engineer gave me the wrong advice on)

-Network tests all fine

-Removed all discs and peripherals

Support tech blamed my network latency and ISP. Although, this is definitely wrong as my other profile works perfectly.

They have also blamed the fact that the account is a child account. Which for some reason this actually could be true, but they wont elevate the account with getting me to add it to an adult account. Which I'm unable to do on the xbox because it will turn
off when I do.

I've had two online chat sessions with them, and one phone call. Nothing has worked. Slightly annoyed to say the least...

 

did this ever get sorted? I am having this issue now
