    Offline Problem


    So I got an Xbox One in August from my brother. He never played it anymore and has had it for years, I'd say within a year of the Xbox One being released. I logged in and have played games relatively fine. However there are many problems with this Xbox One
    and I want to know if it's fixable. Firstly, unless I am connected to the internet I can not open anything, no apps, games, not even settings, they always take to long and give me the same error code (0x8027025a). It's also almost always slow, I don't know
    if this is just the processor or something else being outdated or what, but it's just slow and never works as well as I'd like, when I'm in online games though it's fine.

    offline problem

    Hi, I have gears of war 4 … my problem is I cannot launch the game in offline mode. At first, when im online, the game would launch but after I quit and disable the internet, I cannot launch the game.
    I have to be online for the game to work. I have GOW: ultimate edition and I don’t get any problem with that game. I can launch the game in offline but with Gears of war 4 … I cannot. Can you plz assist

    Is discless play without a 24 check still possible?

    Could they do it technically is a different question from can they do it financially. The problem MS have now is they've promised the machine can be played offline. That means you just can't have discless installs offline without allowing the possibility of people passing it around endlessly. In other words, no, that will never happen. Discs or offline - you can't have both.

    Offline Problem

    First, if you want to play offline, you should go into settings and set the system to Offline. This helps prevent the Xbox from trying to go online for games and apps you use.

    Secondly, doing a power cycle of your Xbox usually fixes most sudden issues. You do this by holding down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it is shut down. Unplug the power chord from the back of the console and leave it like that
    for about 30 seconds. Then reconnect the power and turn the Xbox on again. This helps clear any cache or hiccups that the Operating system has encountered, and will start as if fresh.

    Minecraft, Shyrim, Fallout, and Tomb Raider isn't online only, yet according to the OP. He can't play those games in offline mode.

    I have never tried to play in offline mode but would like to know that if I ever did that my games (360 as well as xbox one) are guarenteed to run, I have checked the back of my physical games and haven't found a single line on neither which can be interepted
    as unable, in whole or part, to play while in offline mode.

    OP, have you or support been able to get the games you mentioned working in offline mode? - Never mind. Just seen that you were 'Reported' for posting so you probably can't answer even if you wanted to. Which begs the question...

    What about this thread was threatening enough to warrent it being reported?

    Had a look on the back of my copy of Battleborn & it does say in big red words that it is online only so I would think that's the same on other online only games.

    Apart from Skyrim I've played all the games you've mentioned offline myself with no problem at all.There's no reason why Skyrim wouldn't work either as it's not an online only game.

    Like I said,as long as it's your home console & set in offline mode then the games should work.

    Games like Destiny wont as they are online only games.

    Not that I know off.

    Any game that is online only are the only ones that wont work offline as far as I know.

    If it's a physical copy it should tell you this on the back of the box,digital games should tell you somewhere in the item description.
