Offline Playing: Games trying to connect to XboxLive

Ok so i got an xbox and updated from store. took it home and played offline compatible games galore. Then all of a sudden, it would give me an error code, or error to be using an xbox dvd, etc. on one or two of the games.

Took xbox to work and updated it, updated all of the games, and now its home and it will always ask to connect to xbox live. I shut off network (since my wi fi at home isnt connected to the internet. I use a router in my house but theres no internet)

it never gives me the option to "Play Offline" like it used to.

I am really starting to dispise microsoft and xbox and im so close to buying PS4 instead

this is rediculous that I pick the games that say internet is not required.

Audio setting for Razer Chimaera 5.1

I'm trying to connect my Razer Chimaera 5.1 wireless audio system, not for xboxLive but only to get the game audio offline playing,

but until now I can't make the digital audio to work with my Razer Chimaera.....

anyone having the same problem here?

 

Microsoft Lied-No offline play!

Thats wack if u have a xboxlive and u cannot connect to the internet why u cant play game offline

 

You have to tell it you want to be "offline" ....

How to go offline

1.Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.

2.Select Settings.

3.Select All Settings.

4.Select Network.

5.Select Network settings, and then select Go offline.

Your network status will change to offline. To go back online, follow the previous steps, but in Network settings select Go online.

 

i did that. and it will say "Please reconnect to xbox live"

 

I'm not sure why it would , maybe do a hard reset and select "go offline" again ...

 

unless you are asking it to do something that requires it to be connected ...
