    Offline play after latest update?


    Hey everyone, i can't find much on this subject so i made a post...

    To make a long story short i moved from Belgium to the Philippines (yay!) And in Belgium my xbox one (first model) was always connected and online, thus always fully updated.

    As i came here i set up my xbox to play games and at first it work fine offline. But then i wanted to acces my savegames online. In order to do so it kept telling me to update. After alot of trouble i was able to update my console offline. Since i'm in the
    middle of nowhere it was hell for me to get the 4.8GB update. That being said every game now refuses to start without updating first. I can't play anything anymore. I tried setting my xbox to offline, but it gives me some 87x number error. It only works after
    updating. Now some games require only a few MB the bigger games several GB's!

    You have to know that i pay 599Pesos/10€ for 15GB.

    So any help/tips/suggestions would be welcome!

    Minecraft multi player off line

    After the latest update minecraft my son can't play with multi player offline. Tried to disconnect wifi, no result. Player two cannot enter the game. Please help!

    System update

    Hi Xbox community. I just updated my xbox one to the latest available software update. After the update I began experiencing trouble trying to access my user profile while offline in order to play my saved games. i never had this problem before whereby my
    system automatically logged onto my xbox profile even while offline. Now I can't even play some of my saved games while offline.

    game updates are necessary so I'm afraid there is not much you can do.

    Have you tried just going to your network setting and switch to offline? You will have to go turn it back on, but if the game is an online game this method won't work cause you have to be online regardless. Hope this helps and have a great day. Feel free

    As of now I seem to be able to play offline again. I removed and re added my console as my home console. I went offline and played a digital game with success. However a brand new dvd wouldn't work. So I tried the same dvd only online this time and still
    no luck. Then I tried a diffrent dvd connected to xbox live the next day with no luck as well. But game discs would work with no issues. So then I reinstalled the blu ray app. Now the dvd loads but I get a message saying the disc wasn't a dvd or blu ray.
    I then closed the blu ray app and relaunched it and the movie worked lol. Finally thhis morning I tried the first dvd offline and now it loads like there wasn't any problems to begin with.

    So my advice to anyone having trouble playing offline is to re add your console as your home console even if you have never switched it before. Then reinstall the blu ray app. Oh and you might as well restart your console afterwards. If you have never
    removed and re added your home console before, the entire process can take close to two minutes. I thought my xbox froze but it just takes a little bit of time

    have you checked to see if the update reset your Home Xbox?

    you might need to designate it again

    make sure that console is set as your home console, if it is not you cannot play games offline.
