Offline Mode?

Can this be played offline? Since I have no interest in playing multiplayer.

Unfortunately no. The campaign is multiplayer mode with a storyline and some awesome cutscenes. The multiplayer option takes you two the MP game mode options. Attrition, Domination, CTF, etc etc. Don't let that discourage you though!

 

The online campaign is lame. You play the same missions the same endings and the same results no matter what at the end it doesn't matter how many your team wins or loses the game has a set ending that has no diversity. Furthermore the story during the fight
is in the background which with titanfall being run and gun you are paying more attention to not dying and getting kills than you are actually paying attention to the voices in the background. My last comment to make is there's no clear goal to the story there's
no real story everything seems like respawn threw it together and said here is a mediocre lazy campaign that can be beat in 4 hours and the only motivation to do it is unlocking the ogre and stryder titans. If you don't like online games stay clear of this
game I'm a huge FPS fan and a big online gamer but this game has me going back to my 360 or my sports games just because it's so repetitive even in the "classic" multiplayer where nothing is new except the ability to wall run and a pistol that aims for you.

 

Ide rather play it alone. That's why I prefer single player games. Until I'm able to play it alone. I won't buy it. But, I do like online co-op though.

Ex: Borderlands & Dead Island

 

Borderlands is a great game 1 and 2

 

I would rather play with myself too but Titanfall requires me to play with others. Yes Borderlands 2 is probably one of my favorite games.

 

Why not play multiplayer? Who cares about stats? Jump in there and learn the game and have some fun. Theres no better way to learn than to just jump in there and do it.

It is a real shame that Titanfall doesn't support off-line and single player modes because I was really excited about it too. Unfortunately, I play solo 95% of the time (even for multiplayer modes like Halo 4 Spartan Ops, Halo Reach Firefight, etc...) because
I don't like PvP at all.

Serious K/D Players ruin the experience for me. I'm not going to lie, I am horrible at PvP and I would feel so guilty to mess up my teams K/D Ratio (" if " I played Titanfall for the Xbox 360) because of my lame skills. I like to have fun Winning
is definitely a big plus, but I'd rather have a good time rather than win with needless aggrevation.

Well then it sounds like Titanfall might be just the game for you. There aren't global leaderboards in Titanfall so players aren't really acting like they are concerned about the K/D stats.

In my experience so far - I haven't seen any players that were overly concerned with their K/D. It's actually been really refreshing!!!

On a side note - paragraphs work in the new forums so you no longer have to use the trick of putting hyphens in between your paragraphs to get them spaced properly.

 

No everything is online only.

 

I have to say that up until recently i would have agreed with this. I always feel that unless you have all the time in the world to play it you are always just dying and respawning.

One reason i decided to give this game a go is the fact that ive been playing a hell of a lot of World Of Tanks which is also MP only. I learned the maps, the tanks and enjoyed it because it wasnt an endless cycle of dying and respawning.

I've only played a handfull of matches so far on Titanfall but I like that everything doesnt begin and end with killstreaks! No matter how bad i might be playing I'll defo get the chance to jump in my titan. Although i might be dying...a lot...im at least
lasting a bit of time inbetween. Hopefully as i get to know the maps and unlock more stuff i'll get better.

What im saying to all those people who will not even look at a game because it doesnt have a single player campaign is....give it a go!!!
