Offline/home xbox

They work just fine whenever I use my mobile Hotspot for wifi but as soon as I'm offline they don't play, so far I've done 2 out of 3 of the methods and nothing has worked.

Regarding your case, if you have set up the home console successfully the you should be able to play those games offline just fine.

I will need you to try doing some troubleshooting steps to see if this will resolve your issue:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

Another step that you can try to resolve the issue, would be to remove and re-add your account. In order to do that please go to: settings> account> remove accounts> remove your account.

You could also try this troubleshooting step to clear any corrupted data from your device:

1- Go to settings on your Xbox

2- Select system

3-Select storage

4- Clear local saved games and your console will automatically restart

Note: When doing this step please make sure that you always play online so that all your data is saved to the cloud

If the issue still persists after going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 10-15 seconds plug all your cables back in and then restart your console.

If you still have the same issue please try going online to check if the games do not work online too or it's just when you try it offline.

so you have gone to network and set the console to offline mode.

basically connect via hotspot, then go to network then select offline mode then stop the hotspot on your phone.

2.Select Settings.

3.Select All Settings.

4.Select Network.

5.Select Network settings, and then select Go offline.

Also you may need to set your console to your 'Home' console:

Designate an Xbox One console as your home Xbox

Note You can designate only one console as your home Xbox.

1.Scroll left from Home to open the guide.

2.Select Settings.

3.Select All Settings.

4.Select Personalisation.

5.Select My home Xbox.

6.Review the information, and then do one of the following:

•Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console as your home Xbox.

•Select This is not my home Xbox to remove the designation.
