first of all, I have had the same gamertag since HALO2. I think loyal customers deserve to be able to play their PURCHASED content, offline at anytime since it took the time to download!!

I'm sorry that i had to choose eating one meal a day instead of renewing internet connection and xboxLIVE! LOL really Microsoft?

Why am I not allowed to play games and dlc I have purchased and downloaded? Eh?...

I would like access to MY purchased games.

Plus, I would like to know why I was secretly paying 11$/month when it started as a 2$/month special and the CARDS are $5/month if you get the year.

Corporations are truly ruining the quality of service...

All games should be free

Let's be realistic. People that create games do that because it is a job. People have jobs to get paid to pay for things (Food, Shelter, Clothing, Etc). For the companies to pay their employees in this case to make games, the games must in turn generate
money (otherwise no one gets paid). If there is no money to be made in creating games, then there would be no paying jobs. And unless you can find a bunch of independently wealthy teams to collaborate to create games for the sheer sake of the fun of it,
you would in turn have nothing to play (and companies like Microsoft, Sony, etc wouldn't be creating consoles to play non-existent games) basically making the entire console gaming industry collapse...

As long as your console is set as your home console just switch to offline mode in the settings & then you can play your games while not connected to live.

I play it offline. Maybe you need to play it once online to register a key or something hidden we don't see. I know the indie games must be played online, but all my arcade games seem to work offline.

I downloaded the game it's in my hard drive already but i'm offline and it won't load games i'm playing because it's saying the downloads are missing the xbox is on but i'm offline in the past once i downloaded dlc i could play whether i was online or not???

In regards to the original question about playing BC Xbox 360 games offline, the answer is yes. You can play Xbox 360 games offline too. How do I know? I've just tried it with the Xbox Arcade game 'Perfect Dark' and it worked fine.

You did not comprehend the post. These are SINGLE PLAYER games that can be played offline. Microsoft failed to properly implement licensing meaning I must connect to Xbox LIVE EVERY time I turn off the console. If I turn it on with it being offline it prompts
me to make the Xbox my Home Console which it already is.
