    Offline booting


    Hello, me and some of my friend were just playing Rainbow Six Siege and we were in the middle of the match. Suddenly someone we don't know comes into our xbox one party and doesn't say a thing and just left after a minute. We didn't think much of it at first,
    but then suddenly someone of my friends got disconected from xbox live. So we just thought he had internet issues. Then after a minute two more got disconected. So we looked up who is in the friendlist of the guy who joined our party, there were only 5 or
    so in his FL and one of them was in the enemy team we were playing against.

    hi you are new to this but there is no name and shame on the xbox forums but if you have gotten hit with a DDOS attack (aka were it knocks you offline for a while) this is what you do :

    report him, block communications, mute (if necessary) bad review and have your friends do it to, and contact your ISP (internet service provider) and they will take care of it (it is illegal to do it)

    this kid on xbox his name is [Mod Removed]. and he a hack where he can send bandwith to your xbox and it will disconnect from xbox live. this is very wrong and someone need to do something about it.

    Offline booting

    Report & block the person via your console.

    If they are booting you offline (ddos) then you need to contact your isp.

    Although it's happened while using xbox live this is done via your broadband which is something only your isp can sort out.

    @Doxa Monster - If you think you've experience a DDoS attack, I strongly suggest that you follow the advice up front.

    1. Contact your ISP and have them know about your situation. They can provide you with a new unique IP address.
    2. File a complaint if you believe this player has violated the Xbox Live Code of Conduct (select the Tampering
      category).
    3. Make sure you Block, Mute, Avoid all future communications on Live with the player(s) in regard.

    For future reference, avoid calling out another players gamertag here on the forums. That's a violation against the forum rules.

    Is this a joke? I invited them to play like a good person and they DDoS attack my team because we are ranked 4th in the world, you can't just choose to leave the lobby and not get DDoS attacked so learn about video games before you comment like a smart !@$.

    I could really care less, somebody illegally tampered with my internet on Microsoft's console and nothing will be done because I know 20 people who still do this months after being reported. It's sad how much Microsoft and EA sports don't care. My brother
    was taking a college exam when our internet was tampered with. This person admitted to doing it to me when I was allowed back online so I don't want to hear this credibility crap.

    I tried to contact the code enforcement team of the same problems happening to me and another issue but after 3 days I haven't heard so much as a single word from them. I'm going to start looking for the number for their human resources department to file
    a complaint against them soon.
