Offline Achievements Almost Full/Are Full when Playing Online?

Hey guys! Time for me to ask a question! =)

So I was playing State of Decay on the Xbox One and I was getting the notification that my 'offline achievements are almost full' and 'Offline Achievements full - we are no longer saving them, go online to save them' Now this would be fine, except I'm already
playing online and I don't think I've ever played the Xbox One offline....

I don't think this will really cause me any issues, but I just want to see if others have had the same happening to them or support can shed some light? It seems to only happen when I'm playing State of Decay, I had not unlocked any achievements when it
started happening, nor in between the time is was 'Almost Full' and 'Full' I also did the network test and it said I was online and everything was fine as well as ye ol' power cycle.

Okay so I spend 90% of my xbox one time offline. Reason being is I can't get Internet where I am located. Anyways, I've always played offline and have never gotten the "Offline achievements are full!" message until today playing 7 Days To Die. Now I
will connect it To Xbox Live every now and again to get new content, achievements, etc. (Recently two days ago). The whole matter confuses me and I've tried to look it up yet there is little on the topic. If somebody could just please elaborate or perhaps
inform me as to why I'm suddenly getting this. I would like to alleviate this so I can continue to earn achievements offline without having to worry about not actually getting them. What's the storage limit of achievements, how do I check? Anything would be
appreciated!

XBOX one allows you to earn achievements offline but need to be synced to xbox live to unlock you risk losing the achievemnts and can even stop you from unlocking them officially when you are connected to xbox live had this issue myself when i was without
internet for a good few months

Hey, Digital! This is definitely an odd situation here. I'd like to help you out, but I need a bit more information first.

I see you've done troubleshooting, which is all the normal stuff I would ask you to do. Have you actually unlocked any achievements in SoD yet? If so, are they actually unlocked, are they sitting as "Done! Unlocking...", or did they not add to your gamerscore?
Would you be willing to remove your privacy settings so that I can see your achievements on the website as well?

If you haven't unlocked any achievements yet, are they actively tracking (remember that some don't)? Are you still getting this popping up?

We can start from there. Meanwhile, we'll look into it to see if there's others reporting this. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this! :3

So I've unlocked the original 1000 Gamerscore from playing the main campaign and I've not had any issues with achievements not unlocking or Gamerscore adding, they've all unlocked the way they should and certain ones have been tracking normally so I don't
believe there is any issue with the achievements themselves. I've had my games blocked on here for more than 6 years so I don't really want to change my privacy settings being a regular of the discussion around here, if that's ok. (friends request will reveal
all if you need to).

When this started happening I was playing the Breakdown mode of the game which I hadn't earned any achievements in, I've since unlocked 'go out in a blaze of glory, breakdown level one or higher' and I have not seen this message pop up again after unlocking
that.

I think it's worth noting that I did originally import my 360 save file, but since you can't unlock any of the achievements with your old saves I deleted my save data for State of Decay from everywhere so I'm not sure if this has done something weird to
my data in the cloud.

Also achievements have been unlocking as normal with all my other games and it still hasn't displayed the message with any other game which makes me think there is something with the imported save data from the 360. I will be playing more State of Decay
tonight so I will see if it pops up again!

I think noting the 360 save is definitely the key here. While it seems you are resolved at this point, I've passed it along to the appropriate people to see if there is something here that needs to be looked into. You've done an amazing amount of troubleshooting
and provided enough information for us to do so.

In the meantime, if you run into this some more, please do not hesitate to post. I'll be sure to let you know if we find anything out as well.

I played more last night and I haven't had the messages pop up again so I think I pretty much am resolved, but I guess it was more of just letting you guys know it's happening because who knows what issues this could cause down the track, but everything
seems to be working fine.

I'll make this solved for now, but I'll update if I have any further concerns with it and will appreciate anyway information you come across as it might help me in future when helping out the community, thanks again!

 

This is happening to me too.. On my XBOX one. And I haven't unlocked anything recently.. But I did bring over my XBOX 360 save and decided to start the game all over so I could do everything again on my XBOX One. Is there a way to resolve this? I mean
I am playing online so why does it think I'm offline? Weird.

 

I've just started getting like 10 mins ago I'm online and I was just talking to my mate so I know I'm online everything's ok I've been playing this from launch and it's just started happening any ideas

 

^Hey guys, for me this just stopped on its on, I let the messages pile up until it said they were full and then it repeated the same process of saying almost full/full. As stated above in the previous posts, it looks like it has to do with importing your
save from the Xbox 360 and then deleting the data after you've imported it on the Xbox One.

I don't think this will have any affect on your gaming apart from getting the messages every 5 minutes and since creating this thread I've not seen the message and I've play SoD every day since.

 

Hmmmm but I didn't import my save I started completely fresh well I'll leave this page open and just keep an eye on achievements I'll post here if I run in to an issue happy gaming guys and gals

 

Thanks for the extra info Cerebro, I think everyone posting their experiences will help. So far 2/3 from this thread did import their save data so I assumed you did too. Did you ever play on the 360?

Also what game mode were you playing? Campaign, breakdown or lifeline? Only experienced this once or multiple times when playing up State of Decay?

 

I had it on 360 but didn't import and I got it on campaign I've played a bit of breakdown and haven't got it I think it's a campaign issue
