Official Xbox One Controllers build quality

Haven't come across one yet.

I too have lost a good 6 controllers (3 official, 3 3rd party) this gen.

Avoid Hyperkin.

As great as the Duke feels in hand the build quality is terrible

Can you please provide the vendor you acquired these controllers through?

While it's uncommon, I have seen illegitimate controllers available on eBay, and at specific outlet malls. These controllers are often manufactured to appear as an official XBox One controller, but lack specific features that make them officially supported.
These controllers may also unknown use tolerances and build quality.

Once we know that, we can go from there.

Xbox 360 controllers definitely had a better build quality, but they are no where near as sleek as the new ones.

is there going to be a fully wired controller with no batteries need for the xbox 1

ya the build quality is absolutely terrible.. i originally had the day one edition and my controller started messing up badly (keep in mind i take very good care of my stuff). the right stick drifts upwards and the x buttons sticks, so i contacted MS and
they said they couldnt help me so i was forced to buy another controller, and now, 2 months into using it, the left stick is starting to drift up and down.. this is ridiculous, i spent so much money on it all and it works for not even a year. i am so disappointed
