Official Headset Adaptor

Just bought the adaptor to use with the turtle beach x12 but having a great deal of trouble trying to fathom out how to set it up any help would be greatly appreciated !!

I just bought this headset and can confirm the official adaptor allows it to work with Xone aswell.

Try buying the xbox one stereo headset adaptor. Buy the official one from Microsoft. Then follow this link. can_i_use_turtlebeach_x12_on_xbox_one_using_the

 

Currently using X12's with the adaptor, is the turtle beach setup thats the issue or just the adaptor? Most new tv's dont support analog sound, i had to buy a digital to analog converter to use my hifi speakers and turtle beach

 

The actual headset mate , where does the pink and green jacks go and what plugs into the jack that comes with the adaptor?

Lol I had the same problem when I first hooked up my X11's so I know how confusing it looks. Not sure how it works on the X1 but I had something I plugged into the back of the 360 and the pink and green went into the other end of that.

Either way, its all sorted so enjoy them bro

Fun fact, if you are in party and you take out the pink wire and hold the pin between your thumb and finger, it makes a loud buzzing sound to everyone in party lol. Well, it did with the X11's anyway.

 

Yeah Rich they are nice n comfy to wear

Cheer's Cloud turn's out you don't need the pink or green but after a few beer's on a Saturday night everything start's to look confusing lol

The chat wheel is turning up the game volume and I just thought the two control wheel's were somehow mixed up but for the 1st time I've tried to use it in party chat and it control's the other person's voice also so when I try to turn it up it turn's the
game volume up and drown's the other person out and the game wheel control does nothing?

I've used it on 2 different x12s so is there some way I can fix it or is the adaptor somehow at fault?

Any help greatly appreciated

 

Never came across that before, not sure what to suggest other than the obvious of unplugging and re-booting etc have you had any joy sorting it?

Cheers guys yeah I've updated the controller , I just noticed the two different icons on the adaptor one to turn the game volume up and down and one for when your in a party lol still I thought you could change it with the actual headset but oh well !!

 

ok tell a lie the button's on the adaptor didn't make a difference it still turned up the person I was speaking to and the game so I will take the adaptor back and exchange it.
