MW3 back to basics?

Take out attachments nobody uses. Bring back Stopping Power and Juggernaut and place in Ghost tier. Bring back those mounted machine guns scattered around. Make some good maps for the first time since WaW.

 

Gears of War 4

they messed about with the core value of the game in gears 4 which is why people including me don't like it, maps are rubbish and way too over sized, weapons are over powered, too many cheap tricks like planting grenades, wall bouncing glitchers, mantle kicks/grabs, broken gnasher, map voting, endless waiting times on ranked games, return to lobby after a ranked game instead of carrying on against the same team, awful campaign and achievements, awful characters except the gears 1 characters, too many robots for my liking.


on gears 1, choice of map/mode/time, great maps which were small and easy to play on, no grenade planting, no mantle kicks, gnashers took about 6-7 shots to drop players meaning you were always in with a chance rather than instant death, no wall bouncing as two- piecing would sort that out, the dead room.

only downsides to gears 1 would be dated graphics now (better though with gears ultimate but there is map voting) host advantage, active reload power (especially with sniper rifle) people glitching out of maps.

but i would still play gears 1 with all those problems.

great campaign and achievements, likeable characters.

I dont get it. Whats a map power ranking?

 

Power rankings show how the maps rate overall, 1 being the best and as the numbers descend, so does the quality of maps. Chasm is awful hence how low down it is

I am a S&D player mainly so here are my favs for that.

I like most of the maps, it just depends on the day. The bottom of my power rankings consist of:

• Strikezone - Too small. I like COD4/mw2 type maps. Medium to largish.
• Sovereign - Too dark. Feels a little small/congested
• Tremor - Too Dark/grimy feeling.
• Chasm - weird, cluster....most gun fights revolve around the escalators/people hiding underground.
