    It's a good idea. And could even be possible after xbox one gets windows 10.

    I use my xbox a lot to browse the internet and have even created the odd word documents using onedrive website.

    Still primarily a game console though and improving the gaming experience should be priority.

    In theory, the original Xbox should be able to handle office, the XB1 would be a breeze

    Not something i would use or be interested in but could be useful. I wouldnt want to do my work on a big distraction like a games console as i wouldnt get anything done.

    Would be good for people with willpower though.

    If I called out sick from work to play Batman: Arkham Knight (It's like I can see into the future) :) and someone at worked called for some info.

    I would find great value in just snapping to One Drive and opening an Excel file to look something up and make edits if I had to. Then I could get back to what really matters... Saving the good citizens of Gotham City.

    You mention mother and that was something I never thought about either. My mothers PC is dying and she is going to need one in the near future since it is not really fixable at this point. With those features even she could use an Xbox One. She is not
    a core gamer in the least. But there are plenty of games she could play that she would like. And she would have all here social apps handy. And Live would give here an easy way to connect to family and friends that are on their. My sisters and plenty of
    other family already use Live for those things from the 360.

    Not only would getting her the One be great for those types of features but the Kinect voice commands would really help her a lot. Hmmm.
