Okay, so here's my problem with banning someone's xbox live account from virtually doing anything:

Yeah, I get it. You're a business and you "want people to feel safe in the xbox community" and not lose out on subscription money which pays the bills! Which brings me to my next point: I pay money to your company for a service. A service that I currently
am not getting, in which I am still paying money for.

See, here's there problem. Am I wrong for inappropriately engaging "communication misconduct" with another xbox player? Absolutely! But there are two sides to every argument. And you only see the side that gets reported. People will provoke a response from
you, just to report you. As video game developers, you should understand competition and passion.

Now, I can't play my games because my "reputation" (for a video game) is bad. So now, I am paying for something that I currently cannot use because someone got offended! That's all that is going on here is people's feelings are getting hurt. So let me ask
you this, if you own a restaurant and a patron, who is a regular at your establishment who pays monthly, is rude to your staff. Just rude, that's all. (As a bartender and server, believe me, it happens everyday). Do you tell that patron he can't eat at your
establishment because of his personality? Do you forfeit the money he brings in to your business because people get offended? Business 101, guys.

So, in return of you blocking my account once again for freedom of speech, I am stopping payment on my xbox live account and switching to PS4. I really just wanted to email this personally to someone, but I can't seem to find an email for anything! I just
have to talk to a robot. Great customer service coming from a company who talks so highly about the "safety and community" of their customers!

    :)

    Hi there,

While I understand your frustration of not being able to use a service you pay for, there are a few items in your argument that need correction.

Reputation has nothing to do with getting suspended. Reputation is how other users see you. The Enforcement Team has nothing to do with that. More information can be found here.

Secondly your comment "So, in return of you blocking my account once again for freedom of speech,"...

    The
U.S. Constitution covers only what the U.S. Government can and cannot do to it's people. The First Amendment - Freedom of Speech - specifically says "Congress
shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

This does not apply on Live as Microsoft is a
private company which can enforce it's own usage rules for the services the company offer. Those rules, which all users agree to when they sign up, can be found here:
    Code of Conduct
    and Terms of Use.

The code of conduct clearly states:

Is this image allowed to be posted to my feed?

More than likely someone would be offended by it. They would probably report it as well. Best to not do it.

A word to the wise you are not allowed to put offending gamer tags in your post it's against term of use for forums and will probably get deleted.

    rebel flag

Was this removed as your Gamerpic? If so, it's probably because the rebel flag is commonly being tied to a way of thinking nowadays that offends people. The world is changing, as I'm sure you know, in the last few years. Everything is offensive now, including
this flag. It's likely that somebody reported it and said that it offended them....

    Gamertag Ban?

Well its not been filtered on the forum,so technically its ok.

At some point in time someone probably will be offended by it ,and it could result in a forced name change.
