Off roading is fun and map space efficient but....

I am a SIM. guy first and seeing Supercars driving offroad is arcady nonsense..Even all the road cutting with out consequences kills the game for me. I request cars that aren't offroad upgraded perform as is and penalized for going off the road. T10
should make this game different from the TDU games,by being a pure SIM. racing experience..

Heh, glad to hear it! Enjoy off-roading in the Warthog, it's pretty fun.

 

There is already a racing "sim" game called Forza motorsport.

Forza Horizon,is a "spin off",open world with a arcade felling....I don't see the point to have an open world if it's limited to stay only on roads.

 

The off-roading is good but the arcade physics is a dumbed down waste of good potential and there are many games like that already...

 

I really hope this doesn't turn into a Need for Speed type of game. There is a way to keep the game SIM AND offroad. Guys (developers) please dont drop the ball on this, xb1 is in a fragile PR state as it is.

 

Who's to say you can't take any car offroad? It sounds to me none of you have drivin a sports car offroad.

Have you played the game already? If not, maybe it would be better to wait until it's actually been released before judging the quality of the physics.

 

I think it's probably safe to say that however you felt about Horizon 1, gameplay-wise, is probably going to be how you'll feel about Horizon 2...I haven't seen anything to indicate that they're straying from the formula that made the 1st one a success.

 

I had a lot of fun with the first Horizon so I'm anxiously anticipating this one!
