Will I be able to play using the Xbox One controller with this micro usb?

I am planning on buying a Xbox One wireless controller. I already have this micro usb http://www.ebay.com/itm/SAMSUNG-OEM...DAPTER-USB-CABLE-SYNC-WIRE-CORD-/400563260502

Will I be able to use the controller? Also, will I need any sort of batteries to use the controller? Or can I just play non-stop since it's connected to PC?

if you have your xbox controller plugged into a power source you do not need batteries.

 

Looking at it i'd say it's not an official Microsoft controller.

It's a good copy but the "glowing guide button" gives it away.
