    Yes, of course. Halo MCC was not supposed to have Halo 3 ODST, but since it's launch was, unfortunatley, flawed, 343 Industries chose to compensate any person that played Halo MCC until 31st December 2015. The servers had loads of problems for months straight.
    So, any gamer that played the game till the end of the year was promised an ODST expansion later on when it would be ready. Said and done. Those that didn't play during that time didn't receive a code. Fair enough since they didn't experience those horrible
    problems playing online.

    I was one of those people, the launch was terrible and I feel sorry for 343 staff. What shoudl be one of the most expected and sold products within Xbox and Halo fans had a huge launch fail, specially since online modes were bugged for months, and not just
    days.

    I don't know what happened, but makes me sad. I love the multiplayer so much and still play it. There aren't many users around there. Some playlists take ages to find people. It's sad many gave up on it just because it's flawed launch. The game is great
    now and lots of fun, but lacks gamers in there. Makes me sad but hey, I'm there once in a while ODST :) Nostalgia, good moments... That is worth way more to me than any recent game. They're all fun, but don't bring nostalgia ODST :D

    It was also given to people for free if they played within the first few months of its release.

    I`ve just bought it and am thoroughly enjoying it.

    Had it on 360 and had forgotten how good a game it actually is.

    As others have said, it was free if you played Halo: MCC in the first few months of release. Otherwise you have to pay.

    Im just looking forward to the free remake of ODST dropping sometime soon, but would I buy an ODST 2 yep! My favourite HALO game was ODST.
