ODST stuck

Hi

i am stuck in ODST! I am at the part where you are in a banshee escorting your squad. I can't figure out how to open a set of gates. Not sure if anyone that is reading this is on right now but send me a message and jump in my game.

I tried looking at a YouTube video but I still can't figure it out

any help is appreciate

Halo 3 ODST (XBox One) won't uninstall

I'm having a problem with Halo 3 ODST DLC. It stopped working on my XBox One. I can load MCC but ODST will be stuck when loading a level.

I tried uninstalling, but it won't let me uninstall ODST. MCC uninstalls fine, but ODST will not. It stay installed no matter what I do.

Is there any way to access the files directly (Like with the 360?). I'd like to get this off my hard drive.

 

You have to hop out of your banshee, go to the gate and push the button on the gate.

 

I experienced a glitch in the original Halo 3: ODST on the Xbox 360 where it is impossible to open the gates that he's talking about. He'll have to restart the level, as it appears that the glitch is also present in this version. Well, that sucks, but hey,
at least it's a faithful port.

It was a glitch. I had it when I was playing that level... and... I think I might have figured out a way to fix it. Can't say for sure, but I know it worked for me.

It seems like the Phantom that you're trying to escort 'gets stuck'. Mine was hovering directly behind a building. I think it was at the second set of doors you need to open. It was completely motionless. I must have spent 15 minutes trying to figure out
what was wrong, why the second door wouldn't open and why there wasn't a panel or switch available to open it.

Finally, in a last ditch 'nothing to lose, what if I tried this' effort, I took my banshee and rammed into the side of the Phantom at almost full boost speed. After that, I went back into the corridor between the open door and the next door that was still
closed and to my surprise, the (now dislodged?) Phantom followed.

TBH, I don't know if that really was the problem or if I just got really lucky. But I do know I had tried pretty much everything else (short of restarting the level) I could think of with no success. In any case, it's worth a try if you're going to have
to reset the level anyway. Let me know if it works, if you don't mind. Good luck.

Hmm, so it wasn't just me experiencing this.

In my case, it was that my squad refused to advance after I opened the first gate. Thought I needed to clear enemies on the tunnel, which I did, but they didn't advance anyway.

Luckily, I was close to the start of the level, so it wasn't much of a bother restarting for me. If I had something like this during the Scarab battle? Oh, I'd be raging. Oddly enough, I don't recall running across this glitch on 360.
