ODST locked-out while in Queue for download

    ODST locked-out while in Queue for download


    Any recommendations on what to do next?

    \My redeem code worked. I completed the Halo Master Chief collection update. Once the ODST download started it was taking a LONG time to download. Somewhere around the 36 to 38% complete I paused the download and shut off my Xbox.

    This evening when I went to complete the download the queue was Empty.

    Ok, so I see Halo 3 ODST is now in my Campaign list. Try to load and get sent to the Xbox store.

    Well my Queue continues to come up empty and my code no longer works.

    So now I have ODST showing as available but can't play it! Wonderful. :-(

    Ok if a dlc is region locked but at first you were in region your account is in yes it remains in yoir downlosd queue

    .if you tried to purchase a game outside your account region and it is region locked you would be blocked before purchase

    Usually when a download fails at 99% is because of download speeds or your trying to download region locked content you purchased while in region or had someone queue but you are trying to download outside your home region or use of vpns it is the final

    No there is no way to transfer between accounts

    You would still have to purchase the content in your correct region

    Now if you had downloaded them while in region before then no thats no longer grounds for refunds an dyou have to talk to xbox support

    Not all content is region locked

    @mister gwyther he did mention he downloaded some xbl arcade games with no issues

    Midnight Club LA download problem

    You can't reuse the same download as it would only queue the same out of region content

    You will have to queue it from the website from the correct regional marketplace that means changing from the us to whatever your actual region is

    For the best experience with live your account region should always match your actual region

    Region locked content does not transfer between regions

    ODST locked-out while in Queue for download

    That's weird behaviour for the download. You can restart it by going to My Games & Apps and scrolling all the way right until you see Ready to Download.

    To download ODST you will have to highlight the Master Chief Collection, press the menu button and select manage game, then you will be able to find ODST. If the add-on is installed, then I would delete and then reinstall it.

    Downloading problems after account migration

    no thats not how region locks work

    no downloads that are purchased while in region will still queue

    however downloads that are started out of region will stop near the 99% mark because of the region mismatch

    the region error only shows up if you try and buy itoutside of region not after you move

    thats why we say keep your downloads before you migrate

    Hi there, do you mean after you have downloaded it, you start the game and it freezes or are you downloading the pass while playing and it freezes? If it's the latter I'd suggest adding the pass to your download queue and download it while on the dashboard.

    If it doesn't give you the option to add to your queue, start the download then immediately stop it, back out to the dashboard and restart the download through your purchase history.
