ODST dlc eligbility affected due to hardware issues

Hi,

I was advised to post this here by a Microsoft support rep.

I purchased a copy of Halo mcc on the 14th of December which is also the first physical game that i had ever purchased for the Xbox one. Upon returning home to play the game I discovered that my the disc drive on my Xbox was in fact broken (or was never
working) and was unable to read or recognize the disc when inserted and instead chose to make grinding sounds at me. Given the issue, I sent the system off to the service center the following day and am now ineligible for the free dlc that 343 industries will
be releasing for players despite fulfilling all other eligibility requirements. So does anybody here know if there is a way to be compensated for this or to become eligible for the DLC?

MCC ODST DLC lost?

So i seemed to have lost my ODST DLC that i got for free for playing MCC before the cut off date. I installed MCC today and its asking me to pay 5 dollars to download the ODST DLC even though i got it for free through the promotion that 343 and MS ran due
to the game being so screwed up.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

I received an email earlier in the year about receiving a free copy of Halo ODST (due to the early issues surrounding Halo MCC).

But never received the code.

I'm sorry to hear of your issue dude, but you didn't fulfill the requirements. You didn't play the game. I would be surprised if you got anything coz it could open the flood gates. People saying their game was bought for Christmas before the deadline and
they should get it too.

It Totally sucks dude. I for one think anyone who owns the game should get it. Maybe try and contact 343.

Oh and you never know. Judging by this forum and the amount of problems people are still having they may change the requiments soon.
