1. Why is "Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty" not available on the german game store?

2. And why can I pay in the US store
only by credit card? I have money on my xbox account.

I'm actually SO sick of them always saying 'soon' or 'very soon' and also think it's pretty poor that we have to wait until the patch when other regions have been playing this whole time.

 

The money which is available in the wallet of your account is region/country specific due to exchange courses. That's why you can't use it to purchase things from the US store. And since this game is only available digitally you won't be able to purchase
it then I'm afraid.

 

Ok now I know why I can't buy it without a credit card on the us store. But why is the game not available at the German store?

 

I have no answer for that sorry

 

It could still be getting a rating, which is why we don't have it here in Australia either I have no idea why it takes so long, but that could be the reason.

If you really want to find out, feel free to send the devoloper a message on Twitter, they're really helpful and will respond to you and let you know what is going on I did the same thing for our version in australia

The reason the game is not in the german store is because germany requires all software to be approved by the government and changes made to the software for that region so it can be released sorry but its your countries laws and i do admit that sucks because
it is a amazing game

 

Haha, i don't think that this is the reason. The game is available for the PS3/PS4 hear in Germany "[Mod Removed] PS".

 

YOu should touch base with the delevoper on twitter, i foudn them open and honest, so they should be able to tell you why. It doesn't make sense that it'd be released on both Xbox and PS on the same day for everywhere else in the world but not for you

I'm in the same boat though, am dying to play it but its currently with the ratings board so I have to wait... well, techinically speaking, I could still get it... but have enough other games to keep me busy for the moment
