Odd pop-up message: Local storage space for achievements...

This might be a bad translation of message that started poping up for me tonight(My dashboard is finnish):

Local storage space for achievements is full, please connect to xbox live... And something I did not quite pick up.

When I pressed controllers xbox home button it took me to settings menu for online options, everything checked out but the message still keeps appearing.

If it matters I have been playing Wolfenstein: Old Blood and State of Decay YOSE.

Sorry if this has been answered before but couldnt find anything about this system message on google or forum search.

16 gig SanDisk Falsh drive issue

I've had that message pop up on my flash drive, but never actually had an issue using the flash drive.

As far as extra storage, you can use any USB storage device (like an external hard drive) for extra storage, but you are limited to using only 32gb of space on that drive for Xbox storage. Use of any other unauthorized storage device (like a laptop hard
drive internally) would violated the terms of service.

Random Xbox message?

So, I was playing minecraft earlier and while swimming, a pop-up message came up. Since I was swimming, I was pressing "a" and immediately cleared the message. Anyone know what it could have been? It was the Xbox message, not a minecraft one. I have auto-renew for Live, so it wouldn't be my subscription ending. To be clearer, it wasn't a invite/achievement/friend pop-up, but a like an error message pop-up. I didn't get kicked off, my friend didn't get booted. Anyone have ideas?

Hey mate,

Are you connected to Live on the xbox?

My guess (and this is a guess) is that the xbox is offline, and it 'remembers' the achievments you have unlocked, so that when you next sign in to Xbox Live, those achievments unlock. I think that portion of the memory is full, so you need to log on to live
to unlock the acheivemtns properly on your account, which will free up space for more to be remembered offline.

I've done a bit of searching around the net, and can only find one other person who has had this issue, and it appears to happened to them yesterday.

It might also be worth signing out of your profile, and then signing back in on the xbox. Might just kick the achivements into gear

That's an odd error message to receive when you have plenty of storage space. It's possible some local saved data may be corrupted causing a bug in the hard drive.

I suggest clearing the local saved data from the hard drive and re-sync data from the Xbox Live Cloud Storage. As long as you've been connected to Xbox Live, your data is automatically backed up and nothing is lost.

Go to Settings>System>Storage>Clear local saved games and the Xbox should restart.

Give that a try and let us know if that helps!

Alternatively, i would suggest moving the game to external storage and see if you're still prompt with the same message.

I have cleared the local saved game - still the same error.

I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. This time skipping the update. Then I don't get an error message, but the game just exits (crahses?).

When I make the update, I get the same error message:

You are almost out of data storage space! Minecraft has restricted access to this feature until you clear up additional storage space.

Currently, no. There is a warning that will pop up if you're about to be out of space, but other wise, there is no way to see your storage.
