Odd network/connection issue

My xbox is connected and online but I can't play games online atm. I've tried Destiny and ESO and got kicked both times for connection issues. When i test my network connection it says "your console is connected to the internet." Afterwards i press the shoulder
buttons to view the detailed network statistics and it says "you need to be online to see network statistics" along with my wireless strength and the status code: 0x40002000033. I've tried resetting xbox, modem, and router. All my ports are forwarded as well.
It's been this way a couple hours now. Please help.

Are you having Streaming Issues? Many people are...

i was on both netflix and amazon for the last few weeks.. regularly at 8pm-6am... yes i am on an odd schedule. i have had 0 issues with streaming. when i have had issues it was due to my connection dropping..

i think people are quick to blame xbox because they want issues...

to many variables with network connection... things go down for maintance be it the program,the network its hard to pinpoint. but it is easy to assume.

 

Odd connection issue

This morning, at 11am, I was able to play online without any problems. Turned it back on at around 3:30, and it paused after the boot up splash screen, where it was that buffer icon before loading the dashboard, with the error that it can't download the
update and to test connection. I tested the connection and green checkmarks across the board.

I went to play a game and it automatically signed me out and would not let me play online. I power cycled my router, turned it back on, and this time, I was able to log into my xbox live account, was able to see my friends online, but couldn't see their
profile pictures or anything like that, and the dashboard said I needed to connect my xbox to the internet to view the content.

Network statistics also passed with a 0% packet loss, 65ms ping, and 27Mb/s download with 1.3Mb/s upload. Is something going on with live today?

Have you tried ethernet cable instead?. how far is your xbox one away from the modem?

 

Is this happened before?, are you able to play online at certain hours?, or not at all?

 

Yes I've tried ethernet cable and had same results. Its not very far from the router and I've tried moving it right next to the router as well and had no change. This is the first time I've experienced this. Although I am connected to xbox live I cannot
play online at any hour of the day.

 

Have you called your ISP?, To see if there is have problems.

 

Have you tried doing a power cycle (hard reset) on the xbox as quite often after playing detisny i had problems connecting an that was the only way round it

 

I meant to add that after turning the xbox off you may have to unplug it as well. It may also help to use the "forget this network" first, if connecting via wifi, then set it up again after the restart
