    Odd Messaging Issue


    I am having a strange issue with my xbox messages on my console. Messages come in way later than they should normally and all at once.

    For instance three people messaged me yesterday and I received no notification and the message didnt show up but today I received all three messages at once with a cascade of notifications. When I try to send messages it says the message sent but the chat
    doesn't update to the top of the chat list and the message preview still shows the previous message.

    Any fixes?

    Try doing a factory hard reset on your Xbox while keeping your games saved

    Hi there,

    I've seen that issue myself too, it's most likely not caused by an issue on your end, but what you could try is the following:

    please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

    I tried that earlier and I just tried it again but the problem still seems to be there. When I sent a message it still didn't seem to update at all
