Odd Greeting

Hi all

I changed the primary email address attached to my xbox account the other day, and after a very frustrating online chat with an xbox representative, who clearly had no idea what she was talking about, i actually solved the problem myself......(sort of),
now when i login to my xbox i have 2 identical profiles, and instead of xbox say Hi to me when i login it says Sorry !!!, anyone know why it is saying Sorry ?

Mine does that if I don't physically quit the game I was previously playing , I stop it happening by pressing the back button (tiny button on the left of guide button) and scrolling down to "quit" .

 

Clearly you didn't solve the problem. How did you change your email address? Did you use a 360 or
http://account.live.com ? The best way to change your email address is to add an alias to your account.

 

Akame, i did via account.live, and i did add an alias, to cut a very long and frustrating story short, rep kept telling me i had a certain email address on my account which i didnt, it was like talking to a brick wall, total waste of my time, not impressed
at all

 

I have a primary email stuck to my account that is completely wrong (its missing .UK) so its not functional. Ive tried to get it changed many many times and not had any success so I have given up trying. Support are less than useless when it comes to
this issue and I have not followed their advice as it seems to conflict with what my overall aim is. At least no one can hijack my account I spose....
