While I know Microsoft isn't interested in VR I feel they are missing out on an opportunity with the Oculus Quest 2. Its highly affordable and has alot of potential especially with Xbox's game streaming. The Oculus is very portable and with game streaming they are a great match. Instead of playing on a pocket sized screen like your phone you could stream xbox games into a virtual space and playing on what feels like a massive screen no matter where you are. By adding either an xbox app or just making it compatible with Oculus's built in browser Microsoft is only out the software cost while Meta deals with hardware expenses. If you guys could integrate xbox streaming service into the existing app called BigScreenvr that would be amazing.

As a bonus while the soon to be released Playstation VR will have much better specs Microsoft would have wireless mobile vr gaming without having to invest into the hardware. Which would in my opinion be more tempting to invest into since it would be cheaper, more mobile and have access to Microsofts streaming games, even if they're not VR titles. (although I'd love to be able to stream skyrim vr or fallout vr)

    :)

I'm taking about an official app for the Quest to play xbox cloud gaming. Looks like that link is for the old Rift system that have been discontinued. The description itself says " Xbox One Streaming requires your Xbox One console to be connected to the same network as your home PC" I'd like a app that doesn't require a pc. I want to be able to grab my Quest, take it somewhere, connect to wifi and play halo on the big screen.

A good example of this would be for someone like my cousin. He leaves his xbox at his girlfriends house and plays on the weekends since his job forces him to move around, so he lives in a trailer. He'd be able to just keep his Quest on him and still be able to play xbox through out the week on a big screen even though his xbox is not with him and his trailer cant fit a large tv. Most of the people I know don't own a PC.

Its kind of pointless and expensive to have to buy a Xbox and a PC and a Oculus just to only be able to use it in your own house. I want it mobile. Just grab your headset bring it to a friends house and play some coop even if they only have one tv. In theory you could have 4 people on the same couch gaming on their own private headset playing coop.

    I am asking for VR

I suggest you try PSVR, it's a game changer. After recently trying the Oculus Quest, and hearing Spencer's statement about VR, Microsoft has driven me into another's arms again. I just purchased The Oculus Quest for myself, it is another game changer.
Why Microsoft continues to miss the boat on technology, I'll never know. I was really hoping for and outstanding Xbox experience, but they continue to disappoint. The other thing I really like about the PS4 and Oculus Quest, not an advertisement in sight.

Not so, OQ has started to push ads on TV.

    Good evening

Verify your settings: Make sure that your Oculus Quest 2 and AirLink settings are properly configured. Check if there are any specific settings related to on-screen keyboards or text input that need to be enabled.

Check for updates: Ensure that both Minecraft Bedrock and the Oculus Quest 2 firmware are up to date. Sometimes, software updates can introduce new features or fix existing issues.

Try alternative methods: In some VR applications, instead of an on-screen keyboard, you can use physical keyboards connected to your PC or a mobile companion app to input text. Check if Minecraft Bedrock VR supports any alternative input methods.

Use a virtual desktop: If none of the above options work, consider using a virtual desktop application like Virtual Desktop or Oculus Link to connect your Oculus Quest 2 to your PC. This method might provide better compatibility and access to an on-screen keyboard.
