October's update made my console garbage

The title says it all i downloaded ghis months updates expecting for it too continue to actually work but now it'll randomly disconnect from the internet, shut off games, turn off the console completely or make me reboot it just to load it again.

Im pushing 125mbps wirelessly so i know it isnt my internet it just started to happen after i installed the update. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have 600gbs worth of games alone installed and im not going to go through the struggle of resetting, downloading my games to see if it fixes.

When is the next firmware update? Honestly

just spent $743.00 on an xbox one, two games and a two year warranty from geek squad only to spend the last 4 hours trying to get a stupid
[MOD REMOVED] update to download. obviously this has been a problem for many other people and I understand there is a patch you can
[MOD REMOVED] around with to resolve the issue. so now i'm supposed to go spend more money on a flashdrive and hope that the patch works? WHAT A BUNCH OF
[MOD REMOVED]! this piece of crap is getting returned tomorrow morning. word of advice to the morons at Microsoft, get your
[MOD REMOVED] straight before you release your products. maybe it's time to switch to apple products.

 

also forgot to mention that my brother installed the same update and is experiencing the same issues

As these performance issues started after the update, we suggest you perform a

Factory Reset while keeping your games and apps by doing the following:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Select Reset console.

Make sure you have your email and password as you will be asked to sign back in. Let us know how it goes!

 

I have problems too, after I install updates the game Tomb Raider Underwood not working. I tried to reinstall the game but not worked.

 

Hey there, have you tried to Power Cycle your console? To do this hold down the Xbox power button for 10 seconds, hopefully, this works.

 

The last uldate was really terrible! I have problems all the time, games not working, WI-FI disconected, so strange things happened. The issues are intermittent. Thats awful!

 

i am having the same issues. disconnecting from live, not connecting to internet with out a hard reset and the game turning off. the last time it turned off it made the inputs on the back of my tv undetectable. I did a reset with games saved and it
recently did the same turn off. if reseting without saving the games doesn't work what are the options to fix this since it didn't occur until that most recent download.

 

Same here... When you turn on the xbox one x (didnt check if it happens with xbox one s) from the controller, about 5 seconds after that it looses sync to it and wont re-sync until you shut down the controller and turn it on again, tried it on 3 different
consoles with 6 different controllers, all that happened after the last update
