Occasionally, Xbox One goes to wrong channels

    Hi,

    So sometimes when I change the channels w/ OneGuide, it takes me to the wrong channel. I think it enters part of the channel but fails to finish. I'm not sure though. I've read support - I.E. Incorrect Channel and Show Information | Xbox One TV,

    I have IR extension cords which directly point to both the TV and Cable Box. I've manually inputted my TV, which is a Sceptre x405BV, and my cable box is a Comcast RNG110 (which I manually entered as well). My TV and Cable Box both turn on/off flawlessly
    w/ the Xbox One.

    I can see HD channels, I have the SD channels turned off in the settings but it still comes in wrong. Such as Xbox TruTV goes to the SD channel. The major networks are all wrong still.

    Time warner cable wrong channels

    first when i first got my xbox one it worked great i would say go to hbo and it would go the channels were always right but about a week or 2 ago my time warner swithed their channel line up and it still goes to the old channel line up so obviously its
    the wrong channels now i have cleared the history of the one guide and also cleared the one guide. now the one guide has the new channels in it but the voice commands are still goin to the wrong channels

    Did all that. Still goes to the old channels with voice commands, even though the One Guide shows the correct channels. "Xbox, watch NBC" still goes to 702, even though the new channel is 1203.

    Xbox One Won't find Non-HD Channels

    I have looked at that and even with SD/HD Channels highlighted it still goes straight to the HD Channels. One time when I said 'Xbox watch ESPN' it went to the regular ESPN channel.

    But anything like Watch USA, or Discovery Channel, even NBC or ABC...just goes straight to the 1000s (HD Channels on AT&T Uverse)

    I have no sound!

    I occasionally have this problem. I either reboot the box, sign out and back on, or change the channel then go back. Only occasionally happens thought.

    Another thing that might work if it isn't your actual Xbox system, you may be plugging the wires into the wrong ports in your TV or connecting to the wrong channel, certain ports go with certain channels so that might be one problem
