    Occasional WiFi Problems


    I've had my Xbox One console since September and I've had this WiFi issue come up twice where I am unable to see any wireless networks. The first time I fixed it using the method where you reset your router after unplugging it for 5 minutes and doing a
    full reboot of the console. This time I tried that method 3 times and it didn't work, but I was able to get it working again after I powered off the console completely and unplugged it for a few minutes, and then plugged it back in. I am considering whether
    or not I need to send this in for repair as I'm concerned the internal wireless adapter may be going out, or if there is an intermittent software bug that prevents the console from being able to see the wireless adapter. I only have a few more months with
    the console under warranty so if it needs repair, I'd rather do it now but I'm concerned that I'll send it in and they'll report the WiFi is working just fine.

    Why when i test my xbox live connection does it say its working, but it doesn't?

    How are you connecting to the internet? Are you using a wired connection, or a wireless (WiFi)? I had a console where a WiFi connection would give me occasional problems, so you would want to check that out.

    Daft badger, that says 'occasional', I'd say it's more consistenly having problems then occasionally.

    Hi,

    If you haven't already, and if your console's power mode is set to Instant-On, change this mode to Energy-saving power mode instead and let us know how that goes.

    Smart Glass So Far.

    I having a weird problem with Xbox One Smartglass. I have everything in my house hard wired except for my ipad which is wifi only and I connect my wife and my iphone occasionally for the ios updates. Now I can connect to my ipad with no problems at all because
    it's constantly coneected to the wifi but when I try to connect my iphone to smartglass, it only connect using wifi and not 4g. Is anybody else having this problem?

    Matchmaking has slowed down for me with my wifi connection lately, but I still find games pretty quick and still see occasional new or bad people. Of course there's lots of 50s too.
