    I purchased Destiny on the Xbox One for my son with the season pass. Today I learned that the Xbox One will not be getting the full content that comes with the season pass installments, instead having to wait a year while owners of the games on PS4 will
    receive it at the DLC's launch. With Bungie cutting back content for Xbox owners on digital content that they pre-sold I assume Bungie will be offering refunds to those who pre-purchased a season pass on the Xbox One and desire one? So how would I go about
    receiving a refund for content that has yet to be released but has apparently already had content removed that will be available to others? Or is this just an instance where I need to use my card's protection to reverse the transaction for a service or product
    that was not delivered as advertised, meaning there was no mention at the time of purchase that my season pass purchase would mean less content than other customers?

    Contact official support to get a refund for the season pass and buy the game afterwards.

    I don't know if you would be able to get a refund, but that is something to address with
    Customer Support if you feel that it is a matter that has to be addressed. I did read about

    Bungie adding some content to the Playstation's download of "The Dark Below"
    but if I remember correctly it is just one strike and it will be available to Xbox players in a year (I know, it doesn't make it better) but this could very well be like the "Dust
    Palace" strike and not be all that much to worry about. Either way, best wishes.

  5. I don't know try customer service and see. I am confused as to why it will take a year, I would understand if it were to take a month or so. I didn't get the season pass as I will just be purchasing my add ons 1 at a time. You never know when something
    else will grab your attention and I don't want to be paying for something and a year down the road be playing something else.

  6. I have checked the IGN website regarding the expansion on Destiny, I'm not seeing anything that Xbox was mentioned. That's one theory that there's no definite time when the expansion will be available for Xbox. Here's the link for the expansion

  7. In searching for a refund of the same pass, I came across your post. I too am looking for a refund for the Destiny Expansion Pass. I'm not going to pay the same amount of money for lesser goods than someone on a different console. I am of the opinion
    that Xbox owners were intentionally mislead. This is fraud.

    khaldrago0220 it isn't that the Xbox is getting content as a whole later, the issue is that some of the pass content is being held back from Xbox users without notice at the point of purchase. The common customer would expect the pass content to be the same
    from one console to another since it was not mentioned prior as it was with the actual game. One of your links you gave is a bit out of date and the other mentions that Xbox customers will be getting less content. That has to be mentioned at the point of purchase
    and was not.

    shoedog I spent a half a hour wasting my time on hold and then another 45 minute while the agent "researched" the issue. I ended up hanging up and I contacted my bank. I told them the issue and they stated very clearly that the situation is one in which
    the product is different than advertised which violates the VISA customer protections that MS agrees to to be able to accept them as a form of payment, and reversed the transaction for the pass.

    at the end of the day, a complete DLC or not. I still enjoyed the game. It's kinda unfair too if we all would want a refund for a product that we already used, and the only flaw is one strike mission missing. I don't want to spoil those who want to get a
    refund, but it's kinda childish to complain if the PS4 get's that mission and xbox does not. We also have some advantages with PS when it comes to games, expansions and add on. Let's just look into the bright side and look into the equality of things.

  10. How exactly would someone wanting a refund for the pass be unfairly asking for a refund of a product they already used? None of the expansions have come out yet. Bungie did not advertise that the expansions on the xbox would not be complete in comparison
    to the same product offered on another product. They did this when it came to the actual game but did not mention it when it came to the dlc. To me that is extremely unethical and not a business practice I support with my money. I personally find it childish
    and irresponsible to not expect what you pay for. Had Bungie said that the content would be less that what was offered for the playstation then I would not have bought the pass for my son, nor would i have sought a refund if I had decided to purchase the pass
    anyway. I understand that xbox often has advantages over playstation also. However those advantages are clearly advertised so that the customer can make an informed decision. When Bungie did not advertise or even mention this "advantage" while selling the
    pass they took the ability for their consumers to make an informed decision. And to make that content exclusive for a year is a bit much. It should come as no surprise to them that there are those that want a refund.

  11. I'm gonna go ahead and trade this game in on something else. For different reasons, its not that I don't like this game, its just if you want to get anywhere in this game u have to spend your life playing it. The grinding, I got up to lvl 29 only finding
    out that if I wanted to get to 30 I had to do the raid and get new armor. I got new raid gear everything except a helmet and got knocked back down to 26. Spend the last week getting back to 27 and almost lvl 28 and I have spent the last two days trying to
    get people together to do the raid and the only people I got a good bunch of people together but u always get 1 or two who don't have the patience to help us raid noobs out. If they had matchmaking ability for raids and weekly strikes that would be cool but
    I don't have time to spend my life getting people to do it. So I am going to take my 650 pts i got out of this game and move on. They got c0-0p titanfall now.

    On top of that doing a charge back on your card will pretty much get your sons xbox love account instantly banned by Microsoft.

    Exacty how would he do his "homework" if Bungie didn't announce that they were withholding content until recently? That is something that Bungie should have been telling their customers BEFORE the pass was on the market for several weeks. A marketing agreement
    doesn't not imply that people who purchase a product from a company outside of that agreement would receive less product for the same price. That is just silly to even suggest. But what is even more silly is to state that Xbox will ban an account because someone
    uses a consumer protection tool. If they did every credit card company and PayPal would be pulling themselves as a payment option. Not to mention that every State's Attorney in the US would be all over them for consumer protection violations. After hearing
    the news my brother did a chargeback for his pass and Xbox responded to the bank that they were not disputing the chargeback because the pass was not represented properly by the publisher. So you think they are going to ban him when they agree with his position?
    This is not the same as making a purchase and using the content only to take your money back. People have legit complaints about the publisher and developer of this game withholding that some of the product people believed they were paying for. And good for
    Xbox in standing behind their customers when they were treated unfairly.

    Sounds to me like you didn't do your homework it was common knowledge prior to launch that Sony had agreed an advertising / exclusive content deal with Activision in regards to Destiny.

    On top of that doing a charge back on your card will pretty much get your sons xbox love account instantly banned by Microsoft.
