Oblivion/Skyrim for Xbox One possible now with reverse compatibility?

Just curious... I sold my xbox 360 a while ago and now am strictly Xbox One. I figured this was only a matter of time before they made their way to the newest console and I was wondering if anyone has any idea if Microsoft or Bethesda has plans to port
them over. Fallout 3 is already accessible through the store, and I really would like to know if there were any plans on the horizon to do so with the Elder Scrolls games.

What kind of Game Player are you?

I'm 80% multiplayer. However just got Skyrim for 360 and really getting into it just like Oblivion. Bored of cod now!

 

Wasnt a BIG fan of elder scrolls IV

Morrowind was AWESOME but Oblivion was way to dumbed down for the casual gamer. I hope Skyrim is better than Oblivion in every way possible.

 

I am really hoping for this too. The Xbox one Backwards Compatibility forum show that skyrim is very high on the list but it seems that backwards compatible games come randomly for now

i cant wait for skyrim and oblivion to be on the one.

oblivion was and still is a mad game i knocked up hours of game time trying to get my character totally invisible just to snipe with my bow.

I would say both games will come eventually. Especially now you can buy 360 games off the xbox one store. It might mean more sales for them.

 

"Skyrim" will more than likely release with an overpriced digital version of "The Elder Scrolls VI" that offers you "Skyrim" as a pre-order bonus.

 

Even if that is the case Azrael, it would still need to be added to the backward compatibility list. Meaning if you own the game, you only have to load it up.

 

It will happen eventually. Bethesda obviously supports the idea. Both games will just have to be tested and approved to be released. The time will come!

 

considering the fan base for elder scrolls i can see this happening to boost ratings for the future game releases.

but all in i cant wait for it to come back again

 

Tod Howard has all ready said that Skyrim was ported onto the Xbox One during the time developing Fallout 4 but that sounds like it was through there own processes rather then what MS uses to get games backwards compatible, either way i would think we will
see it.

 

Hopefully because my Xbox 360 broke before I could finish the game.
