    Just died in a cave. Trying to load but it's not loading. I'm clicking on the saved game to load but nothing is happening... ok ill go to main menu. Go to main menu, Continue is grayed out and nothing in my load game. Just empty.... okkkkk maybe my game pass expired. It did expire! Ok easy fix, resubscribed. Turn game on and nothing. Verify files, nothing. Create new guy, save game and load.... nothing from my old saved.... checked documents/mygames/oblivionremastered/saves that people are talking about. There's no 'savegames' folder for me. Ok weird.... go to user app data local packages and Bethesda folder. Boom!!!! All my saved files, but guess what, all empty except the one i created to try fix this.... I don't understand one drive either. My one drive is empty cuz I don't ever sync... but what's funny is that one time I booted oblivion and it prompted me which saves to use, cloud or storage and I choose storage and everything was fine..... but now I'm just soooo pissed off they messed this up....My kid loves this game and has been doing the oblivion gates for me. He's just gonna be crushed when I tell him we lost all progress..... also tried the windows anti virus app permissions but my Norton anti virus says I don't have permission choosing the oblivion.exe so I'm out of options.... this really blows, I barely have time to play this and now I have to restart.... I don't want to....

    I understand that you are experiencing crashing issues with Oblivion Remastered on PC.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Please verify game file integrity because a corrupt game files can cause crashes. To do this, open the Xbox App. Locate Oblivion Remastered, click the Menu button (three dots), and select Manage > Files > Verify and Repair.

    And then reduce the graphics settings in Oblivion Remastered such as lowering anti-aliasing, shadows, or texture quality. Run the game in Windowed Mode or reduce the resolution temporarily.

    Next is to temporarily disable overlays such as NVIDIA GeForce Experience, Xbox Game Bar, or Discord that can interfere with gameplay.

    Then test without mods. If you’re running mods in Oblivion Remastered, one or more mods could be unstable. Temporarily disable or remove all mods to see if the crashes stop.

    After that is to update Windows and gaming services by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and install all updates.

    And to update Gaming Services through the Microsoft Store. Open the Store, search for Gaming Services, and update/reinstall.

    If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, kindly uninstall Oblivion Remastered via the Xbox App. Restart your PC and reinstall the game.

    Usually I don't re-purchase a game that I have already owned and played to oblivion but with these latest remasters how could I not? I've had to purchase the remastered Spyro and Crash bandicoot games for that feeling of nostalgia. I had forgotten how
    much of a pain some of those levels were in Crash lol. I've also started re-investing in the final fantasy series as they appear on the Xbox. I no longer own a Playstation or the games so to have them coming to the Xbox is absolutely fantastic!

    Even with bc, there are still a few games I'd like a remastered version of too. Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout NV and Skyrim.... Unfortunately I'm 99% sure non of them will be remastered.
