    NXOE Party chat issues


    Ever since I updated to the nxoe my party chat has not worked. Whenever I join a party I can neither hear nor be heard. I have tried everything I can think of to fix it but to no avail. Hoping someone knows what's wrong and can help.

    Yep , had to use Skype in the background for friend chat whilst gaming.

    I've been using my tritons for sound and using kinetic for chat with my mates , if u snap party chat then turn it on , it works fine get the voices and sound through headphones just use kinetic for chat till adapter or new headphones arrive , we thought it worked fine on cod

    I had both a stock and headset with adapter. And yeah it works with my brothers X1 console. And factory reset didn't help. Am part of the preview program could that be a factor in this

    Hi KingZero1991 ,

    Sorry you're having issues with your headset and mic. Which headset are you using? When you're in a party and you go to speak does the icon on the screen light up? If it doesn't light up, then that immediately says the system is not getting any mic
    audio. It also sounds like you're using the stereo headset adapter. Do you have the stock headset that came with the Xbox? If so if you plus that in do you get audio feedback? I'm wondering if there is something wrong with the adapter itself. As you've tried
    a different headset and controller there isn't a lot of troubleshooting left to do. If possible, can you try your headset in another Xbox console? Perhaps a friend or family member's if that option is even a possibility. If it works on another console,
    then the next thing I would suggest doing is a factory reset.
