    NXOE BUGS & GLITCHES [Sticky]

Hi all new users of NXOE.

This big update comes with some big bugs as well.

Please address them here so that Microsoft will pay attention and fix them accordingly and timely.

Currently from a XBOX rep, the only way to solve bugs on the NXOE right now is to perform a hard reset

[ Holding the power for 10 seconds, wait, and reboot ]

Thanks, and please patch all bugs in a timely fashion MS.

    [ak]

    NXOE BUGS [11-29-15]

    - Disc occasionally jams and won't eject

    - Unable to launch home menu to sign into Xbox Live

    - Unable to access settings menu or any other icon in the sidebar

    - Screen constantly flickers

    :)

  2. Unable To Remove A Follower

    Hi Ianvideogamer,

A spam account, does this account have activity?. or 0G and no games played?. this is one weird situation, normally blocking the follower removes them. it could be just a bug/glitch. are you a preview program member using the NXOE?.

    Happy Gaming!

  5. I notice several bugs with the NXOE software update:

    1. Controller not syncing with the Kinect. Will sync with the other method.

    2. Screen dims out when videos are played. Seems that the software assumes there is no activity, and places the console to sleep. A hard reset may solve this temporarily, but this is unlike the dim screen at startup. Here, the screen is at normal brightness
at startup, but will dim after 15-40 minutes of inactivity of the controller. Moving the controller control buttons and joysticks will wake it up and the screen will brighten up automatically. I was told by MS staff when I called them to change out the HDMI
cable, but I don't think this is the issue. I feel it is a software issue where the operating system assumes there is no activity, where there is with the wifi connection, or drive.

    3. I notice that the Kinect is having a tough time hearing my voice, where before, it operated better.

I work with disabled kids and sometimes use the xbox one console in teaching them how to do stuff with the console. What I find with the NXOE update, what I used before, particularly with the motion sensor is not there anymore, or if it is there, it is not
sensitive enough to pick up a small movement of a hand or body. A physically disabled person is limited physically, and using motion sensors that are sensitive in the adaptive section of the system is needed here. A better assistive technology protocol can
    improve this.

Yeah, the gesture control has been removed with the latest update. Am sad to see it goes too, as it was a very handy feature

At least your xbox is still functioning.

Mine randomly bricked yesterday, awaiting a fresh update to address these issues...

According the chat staff (manager), it should be rolling out as early as this week!

Fingers crossed it'll sort these E100, E200 errors myself and others have been experiencing NXOE BUGS & GLITCHES [Sticky] :(

I too noticed the Kinect voice commands were not working well after the NXOE update - it doesn't hear me and I basically have to yell. I went through the Kinect setup for audio and that seems to have fixed it.

However, the whole setup of the Kinect camera/angle/floor is no longer working. When selecting "I moved my Kinect or am having trouble..." it goes straight to the Audio Check and no longer gives me the option to set up the camera. Rebooting, hard shut down
(holding power button), turning Kinect on and off, unplugging every cable from the XOne, all which was suggested by phone support - none of that brings back the camera setup. Twitter Support says that "feature" has been removed, but if so why is the option
still there in settings, and why have two buttons that do the same thing (launch the audio check)?
