I am getting a lot of people I don't know adding my account as a friend and as such, they are pestering me with game invites/messages/liking every single thing I have ever done on xbox such as achievements etc. I want to know how to stop this from
    happening

    :)

Threads complaining about the ads are more annoying than the ads themselves. If you don't like seeing the ads here is a helpful tip,
    PLAY A VIDEO GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Play a video game... On the 360? Hahahahahahahahahaha. Yeah. The 360 isn't a game console anymore. Hasn't been for a long time. They actually got rid of game content like SUAM, XBOX 101 & Major's Minute to make room for ads & apps. It's a joke.

I think I saw something yesterday about Sony patenting in-game commercial breaks.
Its for free to play games. Not games you pay for.If that were to happen I just would never ever play a free to play game.

    Hello Bob!

To prevent someone from annoying, or persistently messaging or spamming you, you can block them. You can find more information about blocking on "How
to Mute or Block Other Players on Xbox One
". This page will also provide you with instructions on how to do this, and what Blocking does once you have blocked someone.

Hope this helps, have a nice day.

Too many adds. They shouldhave used that space in a different way. Period.
Yes.Sony did patent in game ads for FREE to play games. Not sure how that would work out.I know I would never play a free to play game if ads would pop up.Have to wait to see how they place the ads.

Microsoft should make the service cheaper if they have to put all these ads but will they, unfortunately not.
That would be a fair advantage to having adverts all over the interface. Either a reduction in the price of Live or more features?
