I posted this over on the support forums but got no response,so thought someone here may know.

Does anyone know if you are able to select the streaming quality of movies on NOW TV,or does it automatically choose the highest quality?

I have limited use broadband and from what i can see HD streams use a lot of GB`S per movie.

I want to be able to lower the quality down to 360p or similar so i don`t end up going over my limit.

    :)

They will send your points after your trial ends, That can take up to 30 days, It is the same with the 1600 points after you have paid one month they will send you your points

  5. I am on tesco broadband and they have a hidden fair use policy on their unlimited broadband.

Its still quite a high limit but watching HD movies at 3+GB each,it soon adds up.

Yes i am in fact gold, shock horror.

I was given a 3 month code by a generous user.

  7. That`s what i thought, they did the same on the sky go app.

Any idea if you can do it on Netflix?

A fantastic idea though. The option to lower resolution quality to compensate for those who are on connections like yourself.

  9. On Netflix itself it has playback settings not sure if these effect the play back on 360/One however.

    The page looks like Screenshot

  10. You used to be able to do it on sky go,not just to lower usage but to also stop any buffering issues.

They took it away on that to try and get people to sign up to their unlimited broadband, which is totally unlimited.

Just checked netflix and their highest streaming quality can use over 7GB per hour!!

Edit: i found a different page to the one viral just linked, yours looks much more reasonable.

  11. Still waiting for my free MS points they offered a while ago...

Wouldn't use them again, There movie selection is lackluster anyway.
