    November Update Issues - Installed Content, Keyboard and Resuming Downloads


    I want to place my frustration with the recent public update, but I dont find it anywhere how to place feedback on public update releases.

    The latest public release of the dashboard is the worst I ever seen, with a lot of issues.


    • If the console starts disconnected for some reason, the game list disappears. You HAVE to force refresh to display the games installed, but many people would think their hard drive was faulty or something.


    • Before, if I needed to shutdown the console and a game was updating, it would pick where it left off automatically (on Energy Saving mode), now it "forgets" and you have to manually restart the download again by clicking on the game icon, because it doesnt even appear on the Queue anymore. At least it doesnt restart the download from the beginning.


    • There is a horrible delay when you need to type anything on the Virtual Keyboard.

    My hard drives are new and tested before so there were not issues there, especially before the update. I did a factory reset and it didnt solve anything.

    Are there other games or updates in the download queue? Cancel them and try resuming the installation.

    Halo Master chief collection install issue

    I am having the same issue! Hit install and the installation flashes on resuming download, then instantly says it has been installed. Im stuck lick this! Any ideas? Already updated, rebooted the pc, cleared windows store cache.

    Beta needs an update—which fails everytime. (Xbone)

    I've got a new issue that the Xbox wont download in the background when it's off and in instant resume mode. Install fails even though it's worked well in the past. A new issue with the update that allows you to install remotely I guess. All very frustrating
    and it finishes today doesn't it?

    Hey there oK1NGS T4L3NTo!

    Sorry to hear about the game install issues. If you haven't already, try pressing the menu button while Sunset Overdrive is highlighted and press 'Pause installation' and then 'Resume installation' continue to see if that triggers it install. If that doesn't
    work, I recommend Uninstalling and Reinstalling Sunset Overdrive.

    I'm having a similar issue. I accidentally stopped my DL for the bonus content and I can't resume it. I can't find it anywhere. If you find it, and resume downloading I would love to know what you did.
